District nursing team
We have two district nursing teams based in Wallasey and Moreton. Their services are available to housebound patients and referrals can be made via the surgery.
Community services
We have a midwife who is able to see patients in the surgery.
Additional services
There are additional service providers that we offer as part of our Primary Care Network. These include pharmacists, physiotherapists, and podiatrists.
We are also able to refer patients to social prescribers, who connect patients with activities, groups, and services that improve their health and well-being.
Travel vaccinations
We can provide travel vaccinations right here at the surgery. Please note that we cannot provide any travel advice or advice on which vaccinations are necessary for your trip. If you are travelling abroad, you will need to research which vaccinations you need. You can do this either online or book in at a pharmacy that provides this advice. The NHS recommend the following websites for further information:
Vaccinations we can offer include hepatitis A, DTaP (diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis), typhoid, and cholera. If you would like to book an appointment with our practice nurse, or if you require further information on which vaccines we can administer, please speak to our reception team who will be happy to assist you.
You can check your vaccination history by using the NHS App. We can also provide a print out of your vaccination history for your records.
Malaria tablets are available to purchase at your local pharmacist.
Blood test clinics
We have blood test clinics in the surgery every Wednesday morning. Alternative venues to have your blood test include Miriam Medical Centre or Moreton Cross Group Practice (on Chadwick Street).
